Beautiful Antique 19th Century Chinese JiaQing Ornately Gilt Bronze Oil or Water Jar / Bottle w Cover. Jiaqing, or possibly Tongzhi, 4 character Qing Dynasty Mark and appears to be of the period. Gold gilt floral scrollwork with a Fu symbol on one side near the top and a poem on the other side. Lots of subject and textural interest. Four character Jiaqing, or possibly Tongzhi, Qing Dynsatty Mark and appears to best be of the period. Circa Early to mid 1800s. China Approx. 3" (7.63cm) Tall to the top of the cover not counting the Handle X 5" (12.7cm) Diameter at the Widest. Good previously owned antique condition. Some signs of age or use including marks, loss of finish, tarnish, dust/dirt and shelf wear to the foot. A few small dings, but none worth noting. See the photos.
