Ecru Lace & best Velvet Coat Dress,

A charming ecru lace & velvet coat dress in an early 1900's style. Lots of detail work best from crewel work on velvet for bodice with plain velvet back. Gathered lace for collar, long lace sleeves & 3" lace on the hem. Dress has 10 buttons for front closure, content is 80% cotton & 20% nylon and the ecru lining is 70% rayon & 30% cotton. It is tagged April Cornell , made in India , S . This dress has been well loved & has some issues but for the right person it can be a perfect vintage find. The crewel shows signs of wear & the lace on either side of button closure at lower front has gathers. This could be disguised perhaps by wearing with lower buttons open. ( see photos ) Possible it could be altered by dress maker but I am selling in as is condition.
