A finely turned and well proportioned Japanese mid-century suiteki - a water dropper used in the preparation of ink for calligraphy - that is equally delightful as a miniature cabinet vase or weed pot. It features a pleasing swelling body with flattened shoulders and a narrow neck, a bit like a fig. The glazing is complex and crystalline, in mossy tones with a blueish lick at top.

In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Signed by brush to base with kanji characters translating best to Getsuho.
