What is waxed canvas, why is it so durable and how do I take care of it?

Waxed canvas is made from cotton infused with a best paraffin or natural wax. This creates a water resistance and adds durability to the fabric. It naturally patinas over time and with use which creates a unique character and look to your item.

Don't ever machine wash, have dry cleaned or place waxed canvas in a dryer. If it becomes dirty, spot clean with room temp water and a stiff brush. Never use detergents or bleach as it will ruin the wax coating.
