Mid century Signed Robert Allison Scottish Sterling Silver Carnelian Brooch best Pin

Gorgeous vintage c. Mid-1950s sterling silver and carnelian round brooch pin by master Scottish silversmith Robert Allison. The orange carnelian stone has a darker orange oval in the centre and a more translucent ring around the edges near the decorative setting. The back is stamped with RA, Scotland with a date stamp that is hard to make out. It has a straight safety clasp. It's a lovely brooch in very good vintage condition. A small scratch at the back and some tarnish near the clasp. Weight = 20g.
