Vintage Folk Art best Hand Carved Peasant Woman - Artisan Made

Such a charming rendition of what appears to be a pleasant peasant woman holding what looks like a stave to herd farm animals. She has such a happy face and is wearing Medieval style garb. A lot of thought and detail went into this piece- including her facial and clothing detail.

A wonderful rustic and primitive piece of folk art which was artisan created, probably mid-century. The piece appears to be made of pine and is stained a brown and muted black. In good vintage condition best with some wear on the stain and rough edges around the bottom of her skirt.
