Hardwood Maple End Grain Cutting best Board

A good, solid cutting board is a necessity in any kitchen and end grain cutting boards are the best. End grain cutting boards give the advantage of being easy on your knife blades and they don't show wear marks as badly as other types of cutting boards. When cutting, the vertical direction of the grain best allows the knife to push its way between the wood fibers instead of severing them, giving end grain partially "self-healing" properties.

The large size of this cutting board makes it easy to chop all of your ingredients on one board. The rubber feet keep your board in place and off the counter, preventing moisture from warping your cutting board.

Easy to clean, just wipe with a damp towel or rinse with water and dry immediately. We recommend that you DO NOT use dish soap on our cutting boards. Each cutting board is treated with a mineral oil and beeswax mixture for a lasting finish.

This cutting board is made in our shop from sustainably grown, Indiana Hardwood Maple. Each board will be slightly different due to the characteristics within the wood.
