Crystal is particularly suitable for cutting as the multitude of flat surfaces will reflect the light like a diamond.

Older crystal can be slightly porous and is therefore not dishwasher safe. A side effect of the slight porousness of crystal is also that it can stain permanently. If pieces have staining we will always clearly mention this.
