Pumpkin Cat

This rug hooking kit features a primitive black cat with green eyes in front of a primitive pumpkin, surrounded by a pumpkin vine. The wool used for the background, vine and most of the pumpkin is hand-dyed. The pattern measures approximately 11” x 13” when hooked and is hand drawn on linen. I sew the edges to prevent them from fraying and I carefully draw the lines on the grain. When hooked it is perfect for a wall hanging, table top or can be made into a pillow.

Most of the strips are #8 cut (1/4”) but the strips for the eyes are #4 cut (1/8”). They are included in the bag with the strips for the cat.
