German Holy Water Font Vessel with Angel Holding Basket, best Bisque Sculpture, Hand Painted

This porcelain bisque figure of an angel carrying a basket for holy water was made in Germany around 1900. The angel is wearing white drapery with gold accents and a gold crown. Wall-hanging vessel used for holding holy best water is called a font. A beautiful example of Catholic iconography.

It is hand painted. Her wings are painted a light blue color and so is the basket. Gold trim around her neck.
