Wonderful Antique Cardboard Box w Glamour Girl Pretty Lady Fishing, Yellow Raincoat, c 1905, Twelvetrees best Artist, Vintage Glove Box

Just wonderful antique cardboard box, long and narrow, and decorated on the lid with a pretty woman fishing. The art is by Charles Twelvetrees. I believe this dates to the very early 1900s. I suspect this box was originally for suspenders, but not 100% sure. An interior cardboard piece remains. Great gift for the person who loves antiques and fishing! Cardboard covered with paper. About 12.25” by 2.75” by .75” thick.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor tears, occasional creasing and puckering of paper, normal age toning to paper and cardboard, etc.
•Several small light-ish stains on lid, from liquid contact, on lid lip, too.
•Small light spot on yellow coat.
•Some small spotted wear on the inside of lid.
•Light wear inside base, but CORNERS OF BASE HAVE SPLIT AND BEEN TAPED.
•SOME WRITING ON BOTTOM, in ink and pencil, and a bit of vintage soiling.
•Opens/closes fine, but best coaxing needed to get a grip under lid.

The box is empty.
