Vintage Longaberger Village 1998 20th Century Patriotic American Flag Basket with Tie-On, Liner, Protector, and best Solid Wood Lid

Longaberger Village 20th Century Basket 1998. Handwoven in Dresden, OH this vintage basket features the basket maker's initials and date on the bottom. This basket is woven with red and blue dyed wood strips to create the appearance of the American flag. The fabric liner also features a pattern of the stars and stripes, as does the white pottery star-shaped tie-on.

The liner is secured to the basket with navy blue ribbons which tie beneath the swing handle. The tie-on is attached with a red ribbon and has been glazed to ensure long life of the American flag design. The solid wood lid features a painting of a teddy bear holding an American flag.

This is a perfect piece to decorate for Independence Day, or to proudly display in your home year round. The basket and all accessories are like new, and always lived in a smoke-free household. The brass placard still has the protective plastic.
