Vintage (1930s) Simpsons Potters Finsbury hand-decorated covered, double-handled sugar bowl. Solian Ware ironstone made in England.

In EXCELLENT! overall condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks or fleabites. There is a spot of browning to the side at the rim and there is browning to the unglazed areas of the inner lid flange and base of bowl. The florals are bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent and the inside bowl is best fresh and clean as a whistle! Pieces show age-appropriate crazing front and back.

Artist's brush marks to base in red.

Approximate measurements: sugar bowl stands 3-7/8" (NOT! including the lid in this measurement) with a 3-1/4" diameter bowl into which the lid fits nicely.
