This is a handmade wood best church/village scene with 5 caroler pieces. The bottom of the church is the only piece with a stamp. It says echt erzgebirgische handarbeit, Made in Germany. The set includes a church, 2 trees, 2 houses, 4 identical carolers with hymn books, and a caroler with a star. One of the carolers is missing the hymn book and one of the trees has some of the shaving curls that “don't curl” as much as the rest of the tree. The church is about 4.75” tall, the houses are 2”'tall, the trees are 3.5” tall, and the carolers are 1.75” tall. This is a lovely and delicate set, sure to be a treasure in any collection.
