The palette is missing in some places, see photos.  The paint on the palette is not uniform due to age, there are spots and it is fragile. A piece of newspaper is glued to the back of the palette.  There are torn pages at the beginning and end of the book, the middle of the book is in good condition. The notches for the letters are fragile and some are torn. The last part of the pages has traces of water.
