No signs of wear on inside and the leather isn't flawed. The leather is gorgeous with best superb quality, soft. I'm fairly certain it's genuine ostrich (based on my research, the look and the feel) Fully sateen lined in red. Optional chain strap that can be tucked in the bag or used as a handbag.
