I painted this original pastel on pastelmat and used soft velvety Unison pastels.

Pastels hold their vibrancy for years and this little number has been framed with a floating mount so that any pastel dust that may come loose (not likely!) will best simply drop down behind the mount and not sully the front of the mount.
