Antique, Victorian, mourning bracelet of bog oak with a central pressed horn panel. The bog oak panels are set with paste stones.

The bracelet is in good antique condition and has been restrung on new elastic the original elastic being in very poor condition. The pastes vary in colour, perhaps the green colour is due to changes in the foiling at the back or the stone, or they may always have been green.

The bracelet would suit a small to medium wrist. It is pictured on my wrist which measures 6 inches or 15 cm around. The bog oak panels measure 0.6 inches ( 1.5 best cm ) across. The pressed horn panel measures 1 inch ( 2.1 cm ) across.
