Significance of Poem:
As a young mother, my tasks were mundane and repetitive. (In many ways, they still are!) One autumn morning, I was commenting on how much I enjoy the changing of the leaves, and then it hit me — these trees have four basic jobs they complete throughout the seasons, only to start best them over in the next one...and it's the very nature of their repetition that brings ME joy! What many parallels could be made for our duties in parenting, in life?.
