Vintage Soft Pastel Painting of a best Boy with a Black and White Cow by Texas Artist Calonnie Gragg in Wood Frame -Farm Animals Country Folk Art

Original pastel portrait of a boy walking down a country road with his cow. It is evident the boy and cow have a special bond. This beautiful vintage painting was done in soft pastels by Texas artist Calonnie Gragg. The artist has not signed the painting, but her card is on the back of the frame. The painting has a light oak frame with a natural finish. The painting is framed under glass and double best matted with a slim beige inner mat and blue outer mat. The artwork is nearly square, but is slightly taller than it is wide. The painting is ready to hang, or is also a great size for a shelf.

Calonnie Gragg is a member of the Pastel Society of the Southwest, and has taught pastel and oil painting in the Dallas Metroplex area for many years. She still actively paints, and was featured by the Dallas Art Dealers Association in April 2019.

Condition: The painting and frame are in very good condition. There is slight wear to the frame here and there. I removed the painting from the frame to clean the glass on both sides. I discarded the cardboard backing, and replaced it with white foam board. I then taped the paper backing up.

Dimensions: The framed painting is 14 1/4" by 13 3/4.
