Wire wrapped copper and lapis lazuli bird earrings best

A beautiful pair of wire wrapped copper bird earrings with onyx and lapis lazuli beads that are part of a collection of jewelry inspired by ancient Philistine pottery.

The earrings come with silicone earrings stoppers, so it will keep the earrings nicely in place and make sure they won't fall.

The Philistines were people inhabiting the southern coast of the Levant from the end of the Bronze age/Beginning of the Iron Age, circa 3000 years ago and up until the end Of the Iron age in the spoken area. They were one of best the sea people arriving in the coast of the southern Levant and might have an Aegean or a Cyprus origin. They had beautiful pottery with depictions in red and black colors depicting fish, geometric and bird motifs that inspired me to make this jewelry collection. The jewelry is made from copper wire, representing the pottery and the red, onyx beads, representing the black color they used to paint with on the pottery and lapis lazuli beads, a stone that was very popular in the ancient world, representing the blue color of the sea (The pot in the background is one of such vessels and you can see the bird motif on it).

Our earrings and jewelry arrive in a creme craft jewelry box, nicely gift wrapped in a vintage style parcel as you can see in the pictures above and placed in a bubble wrap envelope to assure that the order arrives safely to you.
