Love the Ocean best

Trees and nature are important to me, I live in New Hampshire surrounded by trees in the middle of the woods. I love admiring the complexity and beauty of the different types of trees. As a 4th grade teacher, I love teaching about trees and how they are connected to the various systems of the world. I even got to pilot the book, Seeking the Wolf Tree, by NH scientist, Natt Cleavitt and two of my students art work was selected to be best on the inside of the book cover!

I believe every object has at least 2 purposes. (My kids laugh each time I say that phrase. But now that they are grown, I see the same questions in their mind. How can I re use this?) Reclaiming wood from pallets and turning them into art, trays, boxes or wherever the inspiration takes me. I love the individual beauty and character of each piece of wood.

My Grandfather was a wood worker and he loved carving birds! I know he is proud that I continued his passion
