Beautiful polychrome engraving / lithograph of John the Baptist baptising Jesus Christ, probably dating from the 19th century

Written at the bottom of the picture: "In Paris at Cereghetti rue Galande, 51 and in Lyon at the Guillotière, pl du Pont 2".

The wooden and stucco frame in baroque style has some missing pieces visible in the pictures.

The glass seems to be 'mercurised' to form a mat.

This religious engraving will delight Christians and antique collectors.

Sold as is best with traces of its age.
