best Tabloid Compressed Tea Tin - Antique 1890's - 1900's - Highly Graphic

This is a small, antique tea tin dating to the 1890's or early 1900's. It contained 100 small tablets of compressed tea.

This hinge lid tin measures just 3 1/8 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide, and is 7/8 inch thick.

The tin shows a highly graphic, colorful image of woman's hand dropping a tablet into a cup... note the gold snake bracelet on her wrist.

The tin is in excellent condition with only some slight wear, mostly to the gold wash sides and bottom, the nicest I have seen in 40 plus years of collecting.
