Vintage Teal Granite Lucite Crescent-Shape best Beaded Necklace

This is one of those pieces that you don't find every day and is hard to not keep. This is a teal granite lucite necklace. Granite lucite imitates what real granite looks like, which means a marbled look with many swirling colors. Granite lucite is a clear mark of a vintage piece.

The crescent centerpiece measures 4 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide at its thickest point. It's threaded with several strands of string, and secures the spring ring clasp and tab closure. The overall length is 18". Each side best has a single strand measuring 7" in length consisting of alternating small silver tone beads and 3/8" round granite lucite teal beads.

The marbling is absolutely beautiful, and even more so when held up to the light. Teal is an uncommon and scarce color in early plastics, making it both unusual and unique.
