Best Thick Twisted Beech Branch Wood

This Twisted tree Log piece was part of a custom order that needed resizing for height of custom hiking stick / staff. At 27 inches long it's not quite suitable for walking stick but is entirely too cool to discard. Has been indoors and naturally drying for about 2 years.

Measurements are approximately:
27” long
3”- 6” wide
2 1/2” wide at each end
9% moisture content
Weighs 5 lbs.

Has been naturally dried, bark intact, otherwise natural and may contain imperfections/ character. Unfinished but Lightly carved to accentuate spiral (see photos)

We have an abundance of vine twisted trees on our property in The Piedmont region of North Carolina. Feel free to message us for custom order, just be aware I will not cut a living, thriving tree. It must be recently fallen or branches that have best been strangled and in need trimming. Most are hickory, but Mother Nature doesn't discriminate and has twisted many different species in our area. (Custom orders may take longer to ship if drying is required. Kiln dried available)
