This figurine is 4.5" tall, 4” wide and the trademark (6 Missing Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1979-1989. This figurine has no chips, mars, or repairs, or crazing. It is in perfect MINT condition. First created from Sister Maria's sketches by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1980. it was not released until 1990.

Sister Maria had a love of children and sketched them in various situations. This young girl is tucking her precious little doll in bed with a warm blanket!! It is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory best so long ago and is still beautiful! There is such minute detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.

What a wonderful, vintage gift it would make!
