Beautiful Vintage best Shields Compact with Enameled Roses on Oval Guilloche against a Green Enamel Background

This lovely compact features an oval white guilloche with roses on either end against a minty green enameled background. The guilloche is bordered by an impressed gold zigzg pattern. The back of the gold-toned case is ribbed.

Its interior includes two compartments: best a small rectangular unused rouge container with puff, and a square powder container, marked with the Shields logo and including the original puff (with the Shields "AAA" shield logo). No powder.

In very nice condition, the mirror and rest of the interior are very clean, with virtually imperceptible wear. The back is tarnished, though no attempt has been made to clean it.
