Sterling silver earrings with a fern texture and olivine crystal dangling bi-cones and sterling silver ear wires.

I made these earrings out of sterling silver clay....giving them a fern texture. After best they are dried, I gave them a fine sanding, signed them and fired them in a 1675F kiln for 2 hours+

The next day, when cooled, I put them in a tumbler for about 1/2 hour, then immersed them in a "liver of sulfer" bath to give them a light patina.
I then hand polished them to reveal the beautiful pattern. I also added some "olivine" crystal bi-cones that I wire wrapped and added to the earwires.

The olivine bi-cones and fern texture marry very well to give these earrings a nice botanic and organic look.
