Antique best Wooden Boxes, Carved Stamp Box, Trick Opening Bank

best This is a pair of carved wooden boxes that are most likely Swiss in origin. The small stamp box is quite handsomely carved, and has an inscription on the bottom. It has no damage and measures 3 5/8" by 1 5/8" by 5/8" deep. The bank is trick opening-- the sides have to be pushed inwards to get the lid to open. It is marked "Bern" under the lid. There is one small chip on the front of the lid and signs of wear. It measures 3 7/8" by 2 3/4" and is 1 1/2" tall.
