Really beautiful vintage silver lighthouse charm, with a hidden SOS message inside.
This is quite a large charm, sterling silver, lovely piece to add to a collection or as a stand-alone pendant. In excellent condition.

Lighthouses have curious symbolism behind them: they can be used to represent strength, safety, loneliness, death, guidance, and hope. They are also ancient - the very first lighthouse was built in Ancient Egypt, between 280 and 300 BC, and was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
