The Boy Who Lived In Pudding Lane, by Sarah Addington. Illustrated by Gertrude Kay. Published by Little, Brown And Company. Copyright 1922. Print date 1927, 3rd printing. 93 pages. Navy blue cloth boards have bright gilt lettering on spine and color pastedowns on front and rear. Corners and spine ends are rubbed but not worn through. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. This belonged to a school district and their stamp appears on ep and reverse of frontispiece. No card best or label. Pages are clean. One has a small closed tear at bottom edge and the fore edge of the ffep had a tear repaired with tape on the blank reverse. All six glossy, color plates are present. The scarce dust jacket has a $1.75 price on flap. There's chipping at head and foot of spine and corners, with rubbing along flap folds. Bottom front has a branched, closed tear. It's housed in a new removable mylar cover. A story of the boyhood of Santa Claus, and how he turned out as he did.
