Early 20th Century Velvet best Cape Edged in Fur, Beautiful, Needs Some Love!

Straight out a Kansas City estate, this rare authentic thick black velvet cape is a show-stopper! It best has no label, but there Is evidence there was one at the neck. There are 2 hooks at the neck and 2 interior pockets. As it is to be expected in a garment at this era, there are several issues to be aware of. There are small imperfections in the lining (see pics), a large area of separation on the edge between the lining edge and the velvet (which could be easily re-sewn), and small areas of missing fur.
All things considered, this is a beautiful example of the elegance of a bygone era.
