Vintage best Hand Carved Bovine Bone Netsuke Wise Man Riding Turtle/Tortoise

This is a vintage, hand made and hand carved Japanese Netsuke figurine or a wise man riding on the back of a turtle or tortoise. He is holding a piece of fruit in one hand, and a staff in the other. The piece is pre-owned, and without chips, cracks, or flea bites. There appears to be a mark on the tail underside which is from the original carving that appears to be a chip until you see best that the tail carving goes up the back. The piece is made of BOVINE bone, either oxen or cow. Please refer to the photos for information. The piece measures 2"x1.75".
