I made this mug on the potter's wheel in my Kansas studio. I painted pumpkins on the sides of this mug with velvet underglazes. After the mug has been fired once, I glazed the top edge and interior of your mug in dark green glaze and cover the lower part of the mug with a shiny clear glaze. I then fired the mug in oxidation to about 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. I painted the lower part of the mug in mother of pearl luster and fired the mug for a third time. I painted white gold luster around the edges of the moth wings and fired a fourth time.

This mug will hold 14 oz. of your favorite beverage. It will be approximately 3.75 inches (9.525 cm) tall and 4 inches (10.16 cm) in best diameter.

Hand wash to preserve the luster.
