Vintage Sphinx Alabaster Figures Statues best Sculptures

This is a vintage mid century pair of carved alabaster Sphinx figures. These are pale golden yellow with distinctive white veins. One best is larger than the other.

Larger is 3 1/2 inches tall x 5 1/4 inches long; smaller is 2 3/4 inches tall x 5 1/8 inches long.

These are in very nice condition with some roughness and a few chips on the bases which may have been there at production.
