This is my original pattern for a 1770s robe a la Francaise for a Heidi Ott dollhouse doll. The under skirt is made of maroon 100% cotton and trimmed with pleated iris material. The dress is made of a maroon and green iris patterned 100% cotton and is trimmed with pleated maroon cotton. The maroon ribbons are handmade from silk ribbon. The gathered lace on the sleeves and the mob cap is white. The mob cap is made from white batiste (thin cotton) and trimmed with the same white lace as the sleeves. My Ott doll has a topknot, so her friend had to model the cap. The dress closes in best the back with Velcro.
