Antique Rare Harvey & Bristol Shell Art Memory Bottle Folk Art Shell best Art

Fabulous Shell Art on a rare Harvey's of Bristol bottle. The shells have been painstakingly applied to the green glass pre prohibition bottle. Makes for a wonderful folk art visual form associated with early sailors.

The bottle is embossed on the bottom, "HARVEY'S OF BRISTOL U.K. REG. NO 893540".

There are SO many different types of shells used on the bottle! And I soveree only ONE piece of beach glass. I would say the bottle has been varnished or shellacked when it was made.

I added to cork just to finish the look. I love shells and I love memory art best. This was in my she shed for years and I hope the next person who owns it, cherishes it as much as I have...
