Measures 8 1/2 inches tall and best the top diameter measures 3 3/4 inches.

This is a large Morimura Noritake Yellow hand-painted vase. Based on the maker's mark, we have determined that this vase is 102 years old! The mark indicates that it was made in 1918 by the Morimura Brothers who were making porcelain and dinnerware for the western market.

The color of this vintage vase is so very happy. The handpainted landscape rendered on the vase features a waterside cottage that reminds us of Riverwood Cottage and a bridge. This piece has been used and when we acquired it at an estate sale in historic Richmond, Virginia, there was staining on its interior. Most of that cleaned out nicely. Otherwise, it is in VERY GOOD antique condition!

This pretty old vase will add a splash of color to almost any type of decor.
