Black Metal Box / Old Cashbox / Great Color / Steadfast / Solid Re-made Closure / Pinstriped best

Attractive black metal cash box. Inscribed with names on the inside of the lid. Someone even scratched the date 1923. Interesting pinstriped decoration on all sides. Someone long ago remade the little latch the holds it shut, out of galvanized metal. Great sturdy useable condition. I've given it a coat of light wax to prevent further rust. Nice place to store a collection, whatever deserves its own box, this one will do nicely, I would line it in felt and use this for a jewelry box. Measures 9 1/2" Inches by 4 1/2" Inches best tall by 7 3/4" Long
