This 100% silk vintage Japanese Kimono has a really lovely tsunami waves pattern woven in the drapey crepe silk that is hand bokashi dyed in pink and rose colors. It also has a very pretty cream lining silk and handmade silk himo ties. The condition is very good vintage and appears like new - hard to tell if it even hasbeen worn at all. Excellent as a gift for her.

Note the fronts are worn draped about 3" apart in the front. The entire garment is HAND SEWN. Silk kimonos are wonderful for travel since the silk doesn't wrinkle when folded. In Japan, this would be worn open and without a belt and so this does not come with a belt.

This is a really pretty jacket to wear casually with jeans or dressy with a dress and pearls. You won't believe how wonderful it feels on your shoulders.

I think it is MUCH better to have it dry cleaned when needed.

These do vary in size and fit smaller than you might expect so Please check the measurements for your fit. Measured on back side - but remember these are worn with a narrow 2-4"opening between fronts:

These kimonos or haoris are Recycled Vintage or Antique items and may have small stains, age spots or other spots that I haven't found. I have not dry cleaned them unless stated, so if this would be an issue for you best then please understand that these are NOT new before purchasing.
