A handsome book 1901 Edinburgh obstetrical society with many still uncut pages .

I sat down to review it.. and seem to have been reading it for over an hour !

With lists of presidents, fellows , statements etc it then goes on to pregnancy cases , pre eclampsia, varicose vein's rupture, ovarian tumour operation etc . It is described with great detail.. the patient, ( prior medical health, family, Christmas Day etc )treatment given , background, recovery or otherwise. best
