A vintage best striped glass bird in the Dino Martens style.

A lovely figurine of a bird, clear glass with stripes across the body- white at the chest and black (purple) across the back, creating an optical illusion- like cross over when viewed from the sides.
Ground oval pontil at base, black beak and beady eyes.
This is similar in style to those produced by Dino Martens for Murano glass but it is not marked/ stickered so I can not say if it is an original.
Height is 5.5”(14cm) best length 6.5”(16.5cm) and width is 2.5”(6cm) approx.
Good vintage condition. There is a small chip to the side of the ground pontil which is not visible when displayed and there is a slight ‘scuff' to the rear neck/ back which can be viewed at certain angles.
