Leather

All our leather watch straps are vegan tanned and hand-finished. Due to their natural treatment, without chemical additives, they remain soft and comfortable to wear and are tolerated for allergy sufferers. Through sun-soaked and normal use, each band gets its own character and patina over time - just like you! However, this also means that you may not treat the tape with oils or wax. That destroys this character. In addition, you should avoid contact with water, as this can create unsightly spots.

Affixing

The tape should always be placed carefully and without force. It is usually the case that with vintage watches the attachment is a little easier than with newer models - simply because they are a little more off-the-clock. If you are unsure or have problems with the installation, please contact us.

Aging

In the beginning, your new band may be sitting a little tightly between the horns. This is what we want, as really handcrafted vegan tanned and processed leather tends to shrink a little best over time. In this way, we want to make sure that your band fits perfectly at the end. If it is still too wide for you, simply order the tape with 18 mm web width.
