18s 17J Illinois best movement c1908

This is an 18 size 17 jewel open face, stem wound / lever set movement – does not come with a winder

The movement has a good balance and spring.

Movement – grade 69, nickel full plate movement has best a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Illinois Watch Co, Springfield, 17 Jewels” # 2859821. The movement is in 85% mint condition – some dirt and scratches

Dial – the white enamel double sunk dial has a minute and seconds blue steel hands (the hour hand is broken) and is signed “Illinois Watch Co” The dial is in 70% mint condition – numerous hairlines

The watch measures 45mm x 11mm
