Powers on by twisting the disc at the top of the metal shade.
There is a display set button that appears to be a clock, this does not power up. Perhaps a separate battery powers this.
Base measures 7 x 7 x 2 Gooseneck measures 12 best 1/2 tall. Metal shade is 7 long x 5 wide at the mouth. Approx 17 tall overall. Weighs 2 1/2 pounds.
