Wild best Violet Necklace and Earring Set

Early best spring means the bloom of hounds tongue violets in Southern Oregon. These delightful blue and purple blossoms, together with the bright purple of shooting stars, carpet the oak and madrone forests for several weeks, one of the most beautiful times of year here. The blue and purple handmade paper beads from Uganda in this necklace and earring set exactly match the colors of these wild violet blossoms. I alternated them with dramatic pewter spikes from an H&M necklace I deconstructed and hung them from lengths of pewter chain. This set will make a statement. The necklace is 18 inches long, extendable to 19 inches, and closes with a lobster-claw clasp.
