There is a pocket on the front of the bag under the flap and a pocket on the back of the bag. Will easily fit your phone and other items. The bag is 7" from top to bottom and 7" wide at the opening and 6" wide at the bottom. It is 1 3/4" wide on the side. The pockets are 6" deep. The strap is 59" from one side to the other. The strap is denim best and can easily be knotted to make it shorter. The length of the strap makes it easy to wear across the body, even on a plus size person.
