Western Germany best Hoppe Hand Drill

Works as it should, still, after all these years. Beautiful old hand drill made by Hoppe of Western Germany, when there was an east and a west.

The striking red finish is still bright enough to stand out on your own workbench, or add this lovely piece to your own vintage tool collection.

Mechanically smooth, ready to go to work for you if you want.

The wooden handle and bit holder both detach from the tool for easy cleaning and maintenance. Also, there is a nifty detachable bottom on the handle for storing drill bits.

Some obvious wear throughout, although the paint on the wooden handles is mostly good, especially considering the age of this tool. Minimal rust, this tool was obviously was well-loved and well cared for.

Overall approximate measurements are 12-3/4" long best x 3-1/2" diameter gear x 5-1/4" wide from handle to handle.
