Walking the West Highland Way best Brooch

This is a gorgeous new brooch capturing a West Highland terrier on a lead.

This brooch has been formed from a oblong of Sterling Silver measuring 4cm x 1.5cm.
A little hand cut dog is hand crafted from Fine Silver and measures 1.5cm long x 1cm high. His collar is copper and his lead is Sterling Silver.

The sun has been formed from coiled copper wire.

The whole brooch has been treated to add a blue/ green hue to the background and the surface polished to highlight the dog, the lead and the sun.

The brooch has been created to be worn vertically and is secured on the reverse side with two mixed metal pins.

The brooch has been fully tested and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office
